The kite buggy market has been searching for a high quality buggy that can
withstand the elements, dosen't cost a fortune to buy, lightweight, comfortable, and practical....enter the Kite Trike!
|
|
The Kite Trike was built with the demands of the rider in mind...in fact, it was designed by kite buggiers themselves who
wanted to improve on the existing desings out there without having to fork out a small fortune to enjoy. Made from high quality
chrome plated steel, the Kite Trike is built for the most extreme of conditions. Extra heavy duty front fork, adjustable downtube,
adjustable heavy duty front foot pegs with built in end stops and attachment points for foot straps, extended wide frame rails that
bolt directly into the rear end for added strength, stainless steel hardware, strong veined poly extruded wheels that are
capable of taking extreme amounts of side stress, and ribbed tubed tires.
But thats not all that was designed, the most effort was put into the riders cockpit. The fully adjustable seat on the Kite Trike was built
for durability and optimum comfort! The Kite Trike seat also has an integrated back rest built right into the seat itself and on the back,
is a pocket to hold a repair kit, a first aid kit, kite stakes, a water bottle, or other small incedentals that you may need while out riding across your favorite buggy
playground. The frame rails were designed slightly higher than other buggies to give the rider a deeper seat and allow the pilot to divert more side
pressure into the buggy without feeling like you are going to pop out of it, this is usually only found on more expensive full race buggies. The
rear axle is also longer than both the CompXR and the Flexifoil buggy, giving you better stability on those high speed runs again a feature usually
only found on buggies costing over a thousand dollars more.
We have personally been using the Kite Trike ouselves as both personal buggies
and trainer buggies and can definatly say that the Kite Trike will hold up as good or better than other buggies costing hundreds of dollars more. If you are in the
market for a high quality buggy with maximum features without having to spend a fortune on it, then your search is over. The Kite Trike is the best buggy for
the money on the market today!

The Comp XR+ buggy is the latest in the line of professional buggies from Peter Lynn. The Comp
XR+ is a huge step up from the original Comp buggy in durability and design. The first thing you will
notice about the Comp XR+ is the longer rear axle and the massive 20mm rear axle bolts. The frame rail padding and heavy
duty canvass covers are included. The rugged deluxe seat if fully integrated with the frame rails and covers the
entire area between the frame rails to the front down tube. This added coverage helps to shield the pilot from debris
or water splashing up through the frame rails, reducing the need for a mud guard or "diaper" as it has been
nicknamed. The seat also runs all the way to the side rails allowing for a deeper and more secure feel when sitting
down in the buggy.
|
|
With the seat running all the way to the frame rails, the rear of the seat is now able to run down at a steeper angle, giving the rider excellent back
support which is also adjustable with the heavy duty nylon straps that run under and around the seat back. This
seat is a very comfortable seat to sit in and still gives you plenty of movement for unrestricted control of your kite.
Not only has the seat been improved but improvements are noticed in nearly every part of the buggy. The Comp XR+ comes
standard with thicker walled tubing throught the entire buggy for added strength and durability.
The connection point for the side rails to connect to the down tube is extra heavy duty with two bolts to clamp the frame rails onto. The rear axle is also improved and stronger and now sports massive 20mm rear axle bolts.
The front fork has also been reinforced and comes with deluxe foot pegs with round stoppers on the ends.

Before making the first
prototype of this folding buggy, Peter Lynn set the following targets:
The buggy must be completely
foldable for easy transport; No tools should be required to assemble it; It has to be comfortable
for long distances; It must have high speed stability; Must have easy trick riding capability;
Maximum rigidity and durability.
No compromises were made, indeed Peter surpassed his own targets for this good looking vehicle as its
the worlds first foldable buggy, being completely operational in less than 2 minutes.

Bigfoot XR+ Buggy
|
Newly upgraded Big Foot Buggy, now with side rail
pads - longer and larger diameter frame rails, longer/stronger rear axle, 20mm rear wheel bolts & more!!!
The Impressive "Bigfoot"
drastically changed the outcome of races that were held on soft sand beaches in 1996. Buggying not
only became possible on soft sand; the Big Foot does not stop for anything.
Rolling over soft dunes,
tricks like wheelies, slides, reverses and 360's are all possible.
|
|
Surprisingly no speed is lost on harder beaches while upwind performance is dramatically
improved; a tough buggy to beat on almost any course.
The larger wheels of the Big Foot allows you to ride on top of the sand
instead of plowing through it. This buggy is a must for anyone who wishes to explore new areas to ride that were
previously unavailable.
Frame Material: Stainless steel.
Assembled weight: 32.2 kg. Axle width: 120 cm. Length adjustment: 10 cm.
