kiting package for land-based traction sports and all-around fun! The Prism Tensor is engineered to be more than just another power kite, the Tensor makes it simple
to learn the basics of serious power kiting with either handles, or a control bar, safety leash and quick release system, all set up and ready to fly.
Prism's innovative convertible bar system transforms from a solid one piece control bar into a rugged quad-line handle system without spending another dime on your kite package.
The precision machined aluminum center joiner located in the middle of the Tensor control bar system can be separated and then each side can be refitted with the included
molded end fittings to create a pair of quad handles - Yes, you can ride the Tensor with either the Control bar or handles with the same package! Kite Killers for
quad line mode are pre-installed, so just reattach the brake lines onto the handle configuration and you're ready to ride. Handles allow sensitive control to generate maximum
power from the wind, and can be used with a strop line between the top ends for use with a harness. In either mode, the Tensor's medium aspect wing is powerful and very
forgiving, with a smooth acceleration that doesn't bite and superb edge handling.
The Tensor comes with all lines pre-attached and ready to fly, every Prism Tensor package
includes everything you need for serious fun in a gorgeous backpack/duffel style bag with extra room for a second kite and accessories. The Prism Tensor comes with color-coded
lines, handles and pigtails making setup and adjustment easy, and the multiple safety systems mean you can kill all power on the kite instantly just by letting go of the bar
or handles. In a true emergency, the control bar quick-release lets you jettison the kite and bar altogether.
Every Prism Tensor is built to paraglider standards
from durable and strong silicone-coated ripstop nylon, the wing includes reinforced inlets, incorporated dirt-outs to easily remove sand from the cells, and stitched Dyneema
bridles to reduce snags and hold optimum wing shape under extreme loads. The Tensor's Power Trim system allows 3 easy bridle settings to adjust power and performance in
different wind conditions. The included flying lines are precision-measured and pre-stretched Modulus Spectra for excellent response and long life. Prism also
includes a stainless steel ground stake to secure the kite, and a comprehensive well-illustrated flight manual that'll get you flying quickly and safely.
