Skyburner Solus

After nearly two years of development, the Skyburner Solus is finally here.   The Solus is an old-school kite with all the new tricks built in.   Featuring a 100" wingspan, the Solus is perfect for team flying and precision, tracking like a finely tuned high performance sports car.   Turns are crisp and razor sharp, lines are straight and powerful, stalls are stable and feature a ghostly calmness that will awe even the best pilots.

But the Solus is more.   It's high aspect ratio and high performance Skyshark frame allows the Solus to perform even the most advanced new school tricks with precision and grace.   Comete's, Jacob's Ladders, Insanes, Cascades, Roll-ups, 540's, Yo-Fades, Wap-Do-Wap's and more are not only easy to perform on this high end trick monster, but they are done with pinpoint precision and look awesome!   The Solus is like getting two high end kites in one!

The Solus is built with the same exceptional quality and craftsmanship that you have come to know and expect from Sky Burner Kites.   The sail is sewn with great care and precision, as with all Sky Burner products, along with exceptional strength.   The Solus is the first kite from Sky Burner that has seem taped panels.   The design of the panels come together with the same sleek styling as an exotic sports car.   Built with an unbelievably tough Sky Shark carbon & Black Diamond Nitro frame, this is a Kite built for high end performance and durability.

The Solus is designed by Award Winning Jon Trennepohl and Wayne Brunjes, combined withinput from new designer and professional pilot Devin Cobleigh-Morrison.   The Solus is sewn by Heads Up Kites, Pam Kirk and Mike Dennis and we are proud to say that the Skyburner Solus is made 100% in the U.S.A.
